how to enter the silver spurs rodeo

Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) in 1949, the Silver Spurs Rodeo requires all contestants to have a membership with the PRCA for the following rodeo events: bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, team roping, steer wrestling, and tie-down roping. If you are a barrel racer looking to compete in the Silver Spurs Rodeo, you must be a member of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA). With your membership card, you will be given a local number that you will need to contact to submit your entry fee to be able to compete in the Silver Spurs Rodeo. If you are not a member of either of these organizations, you will not be allowed to compete.

To become a member of the PRCA or the WPRCA, please fill out the application on their website.
