Champions of the 154th Silver Spurs Rodeo

The dust has settled in Kissimmee and the 154th Silver Spurs Rodeo delivered adrenaline-pumping action and world-class athleticism. Cowboys and cowgirls gave it their all, competing for glory in events like bull riding, tie-down roping, and barrel racing, all for a share of the $176,331 payout at Florida’s premier rodeo.

All-Around Cowboy

Dylan Hancock emerged victorious as the All-Around Cowboy, showcasing his versatility and grit by excelling in both tie-down roping and team roping. His total earnings of $3,697 solidify his status as a true rodeo powerhouse.

Bareback Riding

1. Waylon Bourgeois led the charge with a phenomenal 85 points on Silver Spurs Club's Nina, earning an impressive $4,970.  

2. Close behind, Dean Thompson scored 84 points, taking home $3,811.  

3. Tied in third, Owen Brouillette and Mason Yancy both scored 82.5, netting $2,319 each.

Steer Wrestling

1. Will Lummus clocked in at a blazing 3.6 seconds, earning $3,176.  

2. Shane Frey and Holden Myers tied for second, both with 4.0-second runs, taking home $2,616 each.  

Team Roping

1. Braxton Culpepper and Brad Culpepper dominated with a 4.8-second finish, earning $3,915 each.  

2. Brady Barrentine and Reno Gonzales followed closely at 4.9 seconds, taking home $3,455 each.  

3. Marcus Theriot and Chase Graves secured third with a time of 5.2 seconds, earning $2,994 each.

Saddle Bronc Riding

1. Chase Brooks delivered an awe-inspiring 85.5-point ride on Brookman Rodeo's Big Sky Belle, earning $4,738.  

2. Ryder Sanford secured second place with 84 points and took home $3,632.  

3. Tying for third, Rusty Wright and Spencer Wright both achieved 82.5 points, earning $2,211 each.

Tie-Down Roping

1. Cash Enderli and Cory Solomon tied for first, both clocking in at 7.4 seconds, earning $4,550 each.  

2. Dylan Hancock, the All-Around Cowboy, claimed third place with a time of 7.7 seconds, adding $3,697 to his earnings.

Barrel Racing

1. Keyla Costa clinched first with a blazing time of 15.89 seconds, earning $5,675.  

2. Katelyn Nicholson was a heartbeat behind at 15.91 seconds, securing $4,540.  

3. Katie Halbert took third with a time of 15.92 seconds, earning $3,689.

Bull Riding

1. Clayton Sellars topped the leaderboard with a remarkable 86-point ride on Wild Bill, earning $5,076.  

2. Jesse Petri followed with 83.5 points, taking home $3,892.  

3. Ernie Courson Jr. rounded out the top three with an 83-point ride, earning $2,876.
