The Silver Spurs Rodeo is more than just family entertainment. Behind the bucks, fast runs, and quick loops, the Silver Spurs Riding Club serves the local community. By preserving an American tradition, the Club simultaneously plays a prominent role in Central Florida. As a 501(c)(5), the organization’s mission has been to give back through donations and community service. While a majority of funds are raised during rodeo events, here are three ways you can support the Silver Spurs Riding Club and, in turn, assist in expanding community outreach.
Rodeoflix
Get rodeo on-demand with Rodeoflix! Though the dirt is hauled away, and the bulls are home on the ranch, you can still watch your favorite events. Gather the family together, grill burgers, and pop some popcorn because it’s time to cheer for your favorite cowboys and cowgirls! In just a few clicks, you and your family can stream past rodeo performances. The best part is you’re supporting the Silver Spurs Riding Club from the comfort of your own home.
Donate to the Silver Spurs Riding Club
The Silver Spurs Rodeo entertains people from all over at the rodeo events throughout the year. However, the rodeo isn't just for entertainment purposes. Proceeds from the rodeo and other events throughout the year are presented to different organizations within the community. All donations will go directly to organizations in Osceola County for scholarships, cancer support, veteran needs, and more. Donations make it possible for the Silver Spurs Riding Club to contribute to your community. We thank you for your kindness and support!

Spurs in the Community
Each February, during the three-day Silver Spurs Rodeo event, the Silver Spurs Riding Club selects a Central Florida nonprofit or organization as the beneficiary of the event. Nonprofits that the Silver Spurs Riding Club has donated to in the past include but are not limited to Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families of Orlando, Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Osceola County, and Habitat for Humanity. In addition to this monetary donation, the Silver Spurs Riding Club will also host free community events, like the Special Rodeo, which allows children with special needs the opportunity to experience the rodeo with fun and engaging rodeo-related activities.
During the June Silver Spurs Rodeo, the rodeo benefits Horses for Heroes, sponsored by the nearby Heavenly Hooves therapeutic riding center in Saint Cloud, Florida. Heavenly Hooves is partnered with the McCormick Research Institute and the UCF College of Medicine, where they provide equine therapy for veterans. The Silver Spurs Riding Club is proud to do its part in supporting those who have selflessly served in the United States armed forces.
Since its inception in 1941, the Silver Spurs Rodeo has been giving back to the community they have called home. For the past seven decades, the Silver Spurs Riding Club has donated a portion of the money raised by the rodeo events and the proceeds from Rodeoflix and donations throughout the year to give back to many local organizations. Regardless if you’re sitting on the edge of your seat at the 145th Silver Spurs Rodeo, you can still be a part of the continuous giving the Silver Spurs Riding Club embodies.
